RELEASE | Red Leafs recruit McGregor-Bennett to non-conference roster

BURNABY, BC – The Simon Fraser University Red Leafs Hockey program is excited to announce the commitment of forward Killian McGregor-Bennett to the non-conference roster for the 2024.25 season.

McGregor-Bennett, from Surrey, BC, comes to SFU after 4 years with over 170 games and 100 points scored at the Junior “A” level with the Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL).

“Fast, gritty, competitive,” said Head Coach Mark Coletta, “what more can you ask for in a player coming into the mix?”

“Really excited to have Killian in the mix here, he’s got a ton of Junior “A” experience and I’m looking forward to see what he can do at this level.”

McGregor-Bennett had previously committed to Stonehill College’s NCAA D1 program before joining SFU.
