RELEASE | Ben Ruthven to join SFU BCIHL team

BURNABY, BC – The SFU Red Leafs BCIHL team is proud to announce the addition of Ben Ruthven for the 2024.25 season.

Ruthven, from Vancouver, BC, joins the Red Leafs BCIHL team after spending the last three years with the Pacific Junior Hockey League’s (PIJHL) Richmond Sockeyes and Grandview Steelers, scoring 77 points in 130 games.

The forward descries himself as a “hardworking playmaker who can score,” and looks forward to playing competitive hockey while starting his business degree at SFU.
